These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CareerTopRise platform ("we", "our", or "us"). By using our services, submitting your resume, or purchasing a consultation, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction. If submitting a resume on behalf of someone else, you must have their consent.

2. Services Provided

CareerTopRise offers career mapping tools, downloadable guides, resume review services, and private consultations. Content is educational and strategic — not job placement, legal, or psychological advice.

3. Submissions & Confidentiality

• Your resume and content are kept confidential and are not shared or sold.
• We use your submission to provide feedback or guidance. By uploading, you give us permission to process your materials.

4. Payments & Refunds

• All payments are processed securely via Stripe or PayPal.
• Refund requests are subject to our Refund Policy.
• No refunds for completed resume reviews or consultations unless due to system error.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to post or transmit any unlawful, misleading, or harmful content. We reserve the right to suspend access if abuse is detected.

6. Intellectual Property

All website content, frameworks, illustrations, and program formats are the intellectual property of CareerTopRise Inc. You may not reproduce or resell any material without written permission.

7. Disclaimers

We do not guarantee employment or interview outcomes. CareerTopRise provides tools and insights to support professional growth but cannot control employer decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

CareerTopRise Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform or services. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 6 months.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. All legal disputes shall be resolved in Toronto courts, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted here with the effective date. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance.
